On June 27, 2017, El Dorado County District Attorney Vern Pierson administered the oath of office to new District Attorney Investigator John Robertson.
Investigator John Robertson comes to us from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office and has been a peace officer since 2002, where he began his career with the Santa Cruz Police Department.
Investigator Robertson is a member of the Sacramento Valley High Tech Crimes Task Force, the High Tech Crimes Investigators Association, and the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists.
His expertise will be a great addition to the District Attorney’s Office.
The primary purpose of the Investigative Division is to provide professional investigative support for the prosecutors in the District Attorney’s Office.
