3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF) announced the nomination and installation of respected business leaders from around the world to its Board of Directors. 3SGF is a California non-profit with a vision of a world free from human trafficking.
On April 3rd, the following board members were installed:

The mission of 3SGF is to help end human trafficking through prevention education and reintegration programs. The organization has offered prevention education to more than 33,000 youth in classrooms, and more than 500 sustainable jobs to survivors and those at risk both here in the U.S. and around the world in high risk communities. The organization also mobilizes communities in the fight through runs, fundraising events and public awareness activities.
“Our new board members bring unparalleled wisdom and insights from across the country and around the world to 3SGF’s Board of Directors,” said Steve Nolte, chairman of the 3SGF Board. “Their expertise will be instrumental as we continue to expand our prevention education programs and reintegration efforts for survivors and those at risk.”
Human trafficking is a $150 billion industry globally, with approximately 20.9 million people being held in slavery. The average age of a sex trafficking victim in the U.S. is 11-14, and approximately 2 million children are exploited in the global sex trade.
“At 3SGF, we are focused on preventing this crime from happening in the first place,” said Ashlie Bryant, president of 3SGF. “However, given the reality that this is a crime of epidemic proportions, we have also built a model for survivor reintegration and support for those at risk in communities around the world. Our expanded board will help us build the business, education, awareness and collaborative efforts we believe make our model unique and valuable to the cause.”
