Sunday afternoon a man entered a business in Diamond Springs and pulled a knife.
He started threatening to kill one of the persons at the business and eventually fled on foot. Our deputies happened to be in the area and located the man running from the scene.
He was ordered to the ground at gunpoint and taken into custody without further incident. It is unknown why he had a problem at the business in the first place.
The man was charged with brandishing a weapon and for making terrorist threats.
