"If you volunteer for four hours or more you're classified within one of the tiers," said a spokesperson for California Volunteers. "You're classified as a community health worker from the California essential workforce list."
The state of California launched a new program Friday that gives the residents the opportunity to get vaccinated by volunteering to help get others inoculated at sites across the state.
MyTurnVolunteer is an online tool that allows you to look for clinics and mass vaccine sites seeking help based on your zip code: https://myturnvolunteer.ca.gov/
