In order to comply with the Governor’s shelter in place order and the direction of the County Public Health Officer, the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting of April 16, 2020 has been CANCELLED.
The Chief Administrative Officer and Board Chair ask that all advisory bodies including commissions and committees attempt to eliminate or truncate their regular meetings. Please postpone all non-essential items until further notice. Essential agenda items are defined as those items required by state or federal law, or those necessary to meet budgetary deadlines. Please have as few meetings as feasible. In addition, if a meeting must be held in order to comply with state or federal law, or to meet budgetary deadlines, please make every effort to take advantage of the relaxed Brown Act requirements by encouraging commission/committee members to call in to the meeting as well as make every effort to comply with social distancing guidelines
