My first backpacking trip in South Lake Tahoe.

This photo is of Dick’s lake in desolation wilderness. It was a long uphill climb of 7 miles from eagle falls in South Lake Tahoe.

We stayed the night here right on the waters edge. Definitely worth it this time of year. It got a little chilly at night, and campfires were prohibited, but we had enough layers and the sunrise was worth it.
