ROAD WORK ON ROCK BARN ROAD IN SHINGLE SPRINGS TO BEGIN SEPT. 8TH
El Dorado County’s Department of Transportation today announced it will begin surface treatment work on Rock Barn Road in the Shingle Springs area. It is scheduled to begin Saturday, September 8, 2018 and will continue through September 13, 2018. The construction will require occasional lane closures with traffic controls for which motorists should expect delays.
ROAD WORK, CLOSURES ON ELKS CLUB DRIVE AND WAVERLY DRIVE TO BEGIN SEPTEMBER 10TH
El Dorado County’s Department of Transportation today announced crews will be performing road work on Elks Club Drive and Waverly Drive in the Tahoe Basin beginning Monday, September 10th, 2018 and continuing through Friday, September 21st, 2018.
Elks Club Drive and Waverly Drive will be closed to traffic for construction. The closures are necessary to ensure motorist and worker safety while the County’s contractor performs work on Elks Club Drive.
Access for local residents and visitors, as well as emergency personnel and law enforcement will be via detour to Meadowvale Drive, Tam O Shanter Drive, and/or Apple Valley Drive. Appropriate signage will be installed to assist with the detour. Motorists are also advised to allow extra time when traveling through the detour in order to arrive at their destinations on time.
ROAD WORK IN COLD SPRINGS SUBDIVISION BEGINS SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2018
El Dorado County Department of Transportation announced it will begin road work in the Placerville area’s Cold Springs subdivision, starting September 14th-October 2nd, 2018. The construction will require lane closures with traffic control for which motorists should expect delays.
The County will be performing a surface treatment on the following roads:
-- Richard Avenue, Marva Lane, Glen Drive.
-- Beals Road
-- Marshall Road from HWY 49 to Black Oak Mine.
ROAD WORK IN GRIZZLY PARK SUBDIVISION TO BEGIN SEPT. 17TH
—El Dorado County’s Department of Transportation today announced crews will be performing road work in the Grizzly Park Subdivision beginning Monday, September 17th, 2018 and continuing through Monday, September 24th, 2018.
The impacted roads include: Capps Crossing Road, Deertrack Court, Deerwood Court, Deerwood Drive, Forest Glen Drive, Grizzly Creek Drive, Meadow Glen Drive, Merrywood Court, County Road 1926, Parkside Court, Parkside Drive, Pinehaven Drive, Sciaroni Road, Storybook Court, Tyler Drive, and Winding Way.
The closures are necessary to ensure motorist and worker safety while the County’s contractor performs work on the various roads.
Motorists are advised to slow down through the work zone and should expect delays during reversing traffic control. Motorists are also advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone in order to arrive at their destinations on time.
