Clayton Tyler Christensen, age 21, was sentenced to 3 years state prison for having sex with a juvenile.
Christensen met the victim at a party, and then fostered a relationship via Facebook. Eventually, Christensen convinced the victim to allow him to pick the victim up from school. After picking the victim up, Christensen took the victim to a park and had sex with the victim in his vehicle. Christensen has no prior criminal history and admitted his conduct when contacted by police.
The case was investigated by the Placerville Police Department and the District Attorney's Office, and prosecuted by Lisette Suder, Lead Attorney of the Special Victim's Unit.
